Looks good Dale. I have always thought a Willy's tailight would look bitchin on a 33-34 Ford...the Ford's pan is laid back enough I bet the flat spot on the tailight will be about perfect!!

Ya, I go in spurts just like something else I do once in a while. But I do finish it.
Chris, The taillights look better in person than in the pics. I kinda lost the detail of the glass in those two pics. Maybe I'll take another one tomorrow of them a little closer. I am happy with the placement. I did not want to line them up with the louvers. It looked weird under either one of the outside rows. When the plate and pushbar get lined up it will look downtown. Let me know how your roadster shipping is going. Dale

Here is a couple of close up pics of the Willys taillight. The rubber mounting pad puts the housing at a good angle. These glass lenses really light up nicely .

Marcus your car has turned out really nice. You have put a lot of work into that baby since you first started. I need to get more done but I'm doing most of the work myself and I'm slow. I'll get it done though. Thanks for the kind words everyone. It means alot and helps on the motivation department.

Hey Dale, been lurking your build for some time. I think your doing great and making progress considering your surgery and all. Keep up the good work, as you know these builds done right take patience and time!
I also dig those Willys lights, refreshing to see unique ideas!!!

Thanks for good words. I worked on the car for a while today trying to fix the DS wheel well. Got more to do. Seems like the hard work takes so damn long to do right. I'll keep plugging along.

Dude, you need a new Whip-Cracker! Some of us are waiting to see the finished product so we can get our motivation up. I dig the taillights. Don't forget were counting on you!

Elmer. You gonna beat me up? I worked on it again today. Decided to deviate from the body repairs and work on geting my original 57 Olds J-2 intake with matching carbs tore down. I have the carbs soaking and I blasted the intake. Cleaned up pretty well. I need to know it it would work out to chrome this intake? Anyone have any thoughts on this? Wonder if it will stay looking good? I also need a source for the choke that is pictured. It fell apart when I was cleaning it. Was really crusty inside. These are 2G carbs.
