Nice job on your build. I put a 95 LT-1 4L60e combo in my 41 Chevy and used a Detail Zone kit installed in the trunk with no problems. It helps I am a GM Tech with 30+ years experience also. One thing you might keep in mind is that if these EFI engines sit for a long period of time, the injectors may not work when you go to start it. Had three dead ones on my engine, which only had 27k on it but had been sitting for several years. If you ever need any help don't hesitate to PM me.

You know, thank God I've got y'all watching my back. Duh . . . I get it. Which means I'll have to pull the 20 ft. of wire back out and drill larger holes. Thanks guys. Can you tell this is my first build?

Looks good Buddy! Mine looked real good, too, until I dumped the clear on it.

Yep JJ, you'll no doubt be hearing from me before it's all over. I especially like the 30+ years' experience part! Thanks for chiming in.

Thanks Dave! ^^^^

Guess I've logged about 8 hrs total in the garage since my last post. So much for averaging 15 hrs/wk. Work and life, you know.

Anyway, did manage to re-pull the ALDL wiring through a rubber grommet, thanks to y'all. Also pulled wiring for MAP sensor and check engine light (pink & brown wires). Also stuck a grommet in a bracket hole fpr future wire.

Finally stuck the mill back in. Of course, had to fish the wiring bundle down the frame rail conduit as it went in. Will wrap exposed wires later.

Jimmy , I like the way your thinking this through . Everything is new . Should not have any issues with anything . New wiring , E brake . Wipers . Fuel Injection , Front End . Thats the way to build these cars . Realible where ever you go . I might check out the wiring kits when its time for me . Even though you dont get as much time as youd like its all good . Stay at it man . Andy..

Guess you're right, hadn't thought about it that way. 24 year old power plant, almost qualifies for antique status on its own. Just trying to keep up with you Andy!

Just remember I warned you it would be like watching a glacier melt . . .

Drilled holes in left side collector for O2 sensor bung and ground wire stud. Welded bung and sawed-off bolt for ground wire. Painted with hi-temp paint. Haven't baked the finish yet. My wife caught me taking the toaster oven to the garage and about had a fit. Says I need to get my own oven.

Nice build, Brer! I just finally got a chance to go through your thread. As the Virginia Slims commercial used to say, "You've come a long way Baby!". Keep up the good work.
