Default 1933 - 1936 Willys, picture thread

I did a search and didn't find anything specific to model 77 Willyses. I recently acquired a 33 coupe (in pieces) and it's currently being put together. I wanted to start a thread for model 77 fans, whether it be a coupe, pickup, delivery or sedan, post up your favorites. Here's a pic of my coupe to be, along with some of my favorites to kick things off.

Yeah, that's a cool thread, but I was hoping to get one started for the 33-36 cars. Seems like most of the Willys stuff is dominated by the 37-42 cars. There's nothing wrong with the later coupes. They're beautiful cars. But the model 77 has a nasty attitude all of its own.

Well, since nobody wants to post anything, I'll post some more my self. I guess I should have asked for Model A's with whitewalls, or blackwalls, or with fenders or without fenders, or with a chop or without a chop, or cheater slicks or with mag wheels, or with red wheels, or with wire wheels, or with 2 doors or with 4 doors, or with wishbones, or split wishbones, etc, etc, etc...

Now back to the show.

I have owned many 33-42 Willys over the years. My favorite style is the 33-36. Many years ago,I had seen the Blood Sweat and Tears 33 Willys coupe at Lopers speed shop in Phoenix Az.That was when I wanted a 33 coupe. I have a few pictures of my model 77 cars.

Pouting??? Maybe it sounded a little like that? I just wanted to stir things up a little. I'm happy to share what I've collected, but I was hoping to get more people to join in, and maybe turn up some posts on some rare pics or cars people haven't seen before. I actually love Model A's, and even owned one, but never got to finish it. I just thought it was ironic there's so many posts on Model A's, and seemingly so little interest in the "other Willys". I'm just "cheering" for my favorite, that's all.

Here's some more pickups and a panel.

ssaza25; It seems like I've read your coupe is the old Ontario George Gray car. Is that the case? At any rate, it's a cool car.

Here's my coupe and a fellow racer's panel delivery at the Thompson Gasser Reunion held every year in northern Ohio. Many model 77s show up for this.

you might be playing to the wrong crowd here. Since these cars are about 75% fiberglass, most here wouldn't care to be seen liking a tupperware car. You've read all the posts concerning the fiberglass haters. I myself have always found these years to be way better looking. Oh, and lets not forget, that most also require a trailer (another dirty word around here) to get from point A to point B. So that leaves out the "If I can't drive the shit out of it everyday of the week" crowd. Actually, you should consider yourself lucky this thread hasn't been closed yet to make room for another "I'm chopping my 64 4dr Lark. Whatcha all think" thread.
