I think "Survivor" is a relative term,.... I have some cars with history, They are on the list to be restored,... but the list keeps getting longer,.. with helping my one son with his house,.. and getting ready to work on another house for my other son,... And having to try to finish the house we started to build, and get our old Farm House ready for sale (in a bad market
). Not to mention, every time I turn around,... I seem to be working on buddy's Hot Rods and other projects I have,.... Will I ever get to these cars ?,.... I Dunno', But, If I don't make it to them (the road behind me, is a lot longer than the road ahead of me) ,... Don't miss the auction my wife will have ! ![]() Do these make the cut ? B/SR #424 The Blue Racer,.... ![]() ![]() http://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/s...=sr+424&page=4 http://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/s...ghlight=sr+424 This is Frank Taubitz 36 Ford,.. 3rd. place winner at the First Detroit Autorama. ![]() ![]() ![]() A real 50's survivor, Deuce 5/W I first owned 4 decades ago. ![]() After being gone 35 years,.. it's in my basement. ![]() And I am working on this for a friend,... It was originally part of the Frank Mack Roadster deal,... acquired from Bruce Meyer, The Louie Shell Deuce Roadster,.... (SCTA, Gophers),... just brought up the body last night. And this is one of the three cars I'm working on,.... (More on this one later,... If I live long enough, I'm getting really tired.) this picture was taken at 9:00 a.m. this morning. ![]() There are also a couple "O/T" significant cars in the barn,... I'm not trying to brag, just thought these might be of interest. |

Does my Morgensen Special count as a Survivor?
It didnt survive unharmed, but I will restore what did survive to its former glory...

This is one of mine. Stored since 70. I am still looking for more info on it. It was used as a push/tow car for various dragsters in the 60's I have pics of it in red/white, blue/white and the current green but I have no pics of it when it was dark green.
Any help? http://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/s...d.php?t=380766

A fellow club member , Buck Rosson owns " Willy's Pie Waggon" a injected flathead car that won the winter nationals in 63 and the Service Center Anglia, I'll try to post some pictures of it. Also check out 52 vicky Rod and Custom survivor, I was able to find the history of the car, thanks to the guys on the hamb.

Ryan
There have been a lot of survivor cars on the HAMb since I have been on board. I love a survivor car especially the survivor race cars although it would be a shame for me to have one I am sure I would ruin one. I especially like that Texas '33 it haunts me also. I also really like the little monster. somewhere I have read an article on the car in the last few years. Cool little car with cool history as I recall. Thanks for putting them in one place. Now if I can control myself I have a few things to do. Damn I wish self control was one of my stronger traits. peace friend. it does to me. I love old race cars.
