Sunday Edit>> Fantastic day at San Antonio Raceway! Lot's of great cars turned out, several piloted by friends from the HAMB. I wasn't able to upload the videos as quickly as I had hoped, so watch this post for new additions this evening.

The Dirty's Speed Shop Anglia - Time Trials, Round 1

Saturday post>>I'll post more later, but I thought everyone should see Danny (Dirty2) trying to fly... Time Trials, Round 3

Skotz Flathead Fever Blown Methanol Flathead FED
He's struggling with a fuel problem throughout time trials and into 1st round eliminations.

and going down in round 1 eliminations...

    Staging for Round 1 Elims...

The wheelie earlier in the day damaged the front suspension causing the erratic handling you see as Danny goes down the track. That was the end of the Dirtys' night.

Right behind Danny, One of the Thunderbolts, Bubby, took a late model to school running a 10.87 on a 10.80 in his Tudor Sedan. He went to the finals, but I missed that race to know who won. I think it was him.

A few more, fun stuff from the staging lanes and starting line...

I have a dozen more videos, but I underestimated the bandwidth needed to upload HD video. Look for me to insert them tonight.

This was agreat race! I'll. Be nursing a sunburn for a few says, but worth every bit.

Skotz had his flatty fed out, but chased fuel issues all the way into eliminations and ended his day after round 1.
Several others folks on the HAMB will recognize. More video on the way.

That's the last of the videos. I fixed a duplicate and added some VGA versions of some fast cars at the end.

Lot's to see, hear and smell. My wife was blown away that the nitro fumes made it all the way up the stands and left soot all over us! :)

Dam Danny now that is a wheelie car now. Looks like yall had a great time.

  24. Scotty,
Cool coverage.....I'm glad that I got to see the races thru your video's, since I was thrashing on "teething problems:rolleyes:" on the Flathead Dragster.....from valves closing the spark plugs to going way too rich on the mixture.....but I'm learning AND having fun......what a cool weekend it was.
    Thanks for "your being around"
