Like most of us I would like to have it done in a short time ... but life gets in the way sometimes... the new year and warmer weather are helping .. that and gathering parts .... I have been selective about this,...I want to buy things only once ...ok maybe twice at most...ill add some more shots soon...

I need a '36 Pickup to go with my sedan..............
I have the Flattie out of the sedan with all the running gear for it so all I need is to find a good cab to start.

I'm using the ford turbo 2.3 ..with a t5 trans.. different.. but its a ford in a ford,..the truck is going to be very lite... so the weight to power is very good ... and they get 30 mpg.. with gas at $6.50 a gallon here ,.... its practical and fun for me...

You're running a full hood, I hope?

Just nerfin' ya. Look vintage, run modern. Like you say, its practical. Not everybody on this site will be will find it possible to run a completely vintage driveline. Many times its more practical to just be mindfull of the vintage or period look of a project, rather than building a restoration.

BTW, I didn't know that the '35 and '36 truck had different cabs; I thought they carried over like a '30-'31 or a '33-'34. Sumpthin' new every day! ;)

    Later, Kinky6
