This is brand new news! Bugs' '35, built by Troy Ladd and the crew from Hollywood Hotrods, was selected as the 2010 Goodguys Kustom of the Year!!

I just got off the phone with Troy and we should hopefully see it in Scottsdale!!!!

I'm just in love with this car!

I hope most of you will remember that the build on this dynamite custom was chronicled right here on the HAMB

Sweet. Is that grille custom made? Good to see some legitimately stylish cars winning big awards.

I saw it LARS too. In fact, I may have drooled on it a little. Don't tell Bugsy or Ladd!

    Hey,

The grille is from an early White truck.

HAMB member chrisp, now living back in France should be very proud of his work!

I was able to meet Bugsey at last year grand nat'l roadster show and was able to talk to him for a long time and was up close too this great car. This car, Cole Foster build and Timebomb John build are all responsible for my build on my tag line. Can't wait to see the car in scottsdale and see up close again.

Amazing car, especially looking back at that build! Never would've guessed it had a bad chop and needed all the body work

I agree completely Ron, these cars along with the Norwegian Blacksmith build were the reasons why I, like you, decided to bite off something as challenging as what I'm attempting. I have the photos in this build memorized for as many times as I've studied them.

Congratulations Chrisp, for the award and thanks so much for taking the time to photograph, document, explain and post this build! You didn't have to, but you did anyway.

    Ruler!
