How's the little munchkin doing? Hope she is feeling better, and you can go get your trucks soon.We are all curious how the trucks look when you get them home. |

Thanks fellas. I appreciate the kind words - it's been kind of a struggle to get even this far with it. Just concentrating on enjoying it for a bit now before I do anything else.
LT.

I was wondering what you did to accomplish this on the front axle? (i.e., Does it still have solid axle?)

found what i think is a vin plate on one of the trucks. all i can read on it are the indented numbers. one truck i guess is a 46 cause it has 46 indented by itself but the other number is the vin i am guessing. 8CK05 is all i can see. its at the bottom of the plate. any guesses. all i have is my cellphone camera and it doesnt show up clear. if you look at the second pic, you can see the plate just above fender. i will add the pic to my profile later today. any help i can get to locate another vin on that one or the other?

LT, that is one of the nicest looking 6's I have ever seen......CLEAN, and I like the Harley horn. I thought I was the only one who uses motorcycle parts on his cars and trucks.

Nice truck,, most of the 40 design is shared by the 41-46..
I think the only differences are in the front grill You could start your own thread too, maybe see how many other 40's are out there, you might be surprised
