My take on the bead roller scene bought the Woodward Fab unit from Summit, very similar to the Harbor Freight one. I made a very simple, quick stand for it put a wheel on instead of a lever and painted it. Fast & dirty built with scrap/leftovers and ~2hours of my time. I need to pinstripe it a bit for some more character - and of course I still need to figure out how to use this contraption
This is how I reinforced mine. Used 3/8 inch plate to fabricate "strong backs" and a web. I will replace the stock adjuster with a block of mild steel drilled and tapped for a 1/2 inch fine thread bolt. The pegs are made out of 1/2 inch all thread. Bolts would work as well. So far, everything is holding up and I am pleased with the results that we are getting. Ugly as sin. But that is not a priority right now.
