Chome hurst mounts are a nice touch. I was thinking about chroming my saddle mount on my 265.

I hear ya. I am a nervous wreck thinking about blowing my trans with my 265 (283 Corvette spec'd) engine in my '35. I have one extra '39 trans and one '35 trans that I can use if I get stupid. Even though you have to go easy on it, there' something so cool about using those early ford trans' with Hot Rod motors just as they did way back when.
