Event Coverage 2nd ever Alberta H.A.M.B get together!

Well, a year has flown past us and some of the regulars have been pestering me to get another one of these on the go. Last year we had a great time, way more cars in attendance than we counted on a good feedback by all! Let’s make this year even better!

I've been talking to the owner of the Queen Diner here in Red Deer(same location as last year) and he's excited too see us again. I'm thinking of asking him to host us on the 25th of Sept (he has events going most other weekends), how does that work for everyone? If we can get enough feedback I will call him Friday and let him know we're coming in fast with empty stomachs!

Soo, Queens Diner? That place is so cool. They never had anything like that when I lived in RedDeer. Dang.

 

The Queen Diner is a very Cool place.. an excellent setting.. last year was a Good time..

 

THIS year, I hope to make it. The 25th should work fine (I hope)

Wish I could make it...there seems to be alot more HAMB members in Alberta than out here in Manitoba.

I just got off the phone with the owner of the Diner and he says we are a go! SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 25TH !

 

Yes meeting at Nisku Shell (Was it the Flying J?) was a good location. I guess you and I can now travel togerther. Neighbour.

No problem Greg, but honestly it takes next to nothing to put one of these on. Pick a date, a location and away you go. If you all like these gatherings as much as I do, feel free to plan one of your own too! Alberta needs more cool events! Having one in the fall is great as it's sort of a 'season ender' kind of deal.

 

Now I feel stupid.

After rereading Graham's introductory post I see that it's Sept. 25 and not August!

I'm in! Should be able to talk a couple of the guys into joining me!

I'll be there!! I might be driving an OT truck, but I will be towing my dragster down.. Unless anyone has a cool truck that has a hitch and wants to pull my dragster with it? I'll pay half the gas!!
