Event Coverage Hamb Drags Attendees

With the Hamb Drags just days away, Id like to see what all the people who got registered will be showing up with to race. I just cant wait , id like to see what will be going down the track. So let make all the people that wont be there jealous and show off your racing ride.

No, I am in St Louis. Haven't been home for most of the summer. I am gonna try and at least make it to be a spectator.

 

Awe man! That's a bummer Root. I always love to watch you and the Fly. Regardless it'll be good to see you if you can make it.

Oh yeah, the coupe and I'll be making passes. I've not been tuning on her much so I kind of doubt I'll be improving on my times.

I registered my 39 Dodge altered but sold it. I will be a spectater Again. Cal

 

I am going to run my old truck. I have not been on a drag strip since 1967. I suspect things have changed since then. Have never used lights, just a flag man. I've got lots of learning to do.

a couple of years ago i broke the 20 second barrier with a some 19.8 second runs. someday when the tired old 283 gives up the ghost i'll transplant something with more horse pressure into him. a couple of candidates reside in the corner of my shop and a couple of more are out there waiting for me to snag them.

 

i am in the same boat, but its going to be fun pulling the trigger on this toy
