    I can't wait!!

I'll start a thread, but also post this here -------

If anyone wants/needs a push vehicle, I'll volunteer my F100.
It's registered to race and I'll make a couple passes.
Otherwise, it'll be available for push/tow duties.
(will be installing a 2x12 "bumper" before the Drags)

Will there be some sort of traffic control at the entrance to the track? Any suggestions on best way to the track? What time will be spectators be allowed to enter the track?

  14. I was going to be slack and leave the slicks at home but I just can't do it. I can't wait to see what I can break this year! And I can't wait to see all you hooligans face to face again!

Wow Kevin, Ouch! That's why they say to have the snubber hit right under the spring eye..

It's hard to imagine this is the 8th year for the HAMB Drags. Big Olds and I will be there with our racing helmet and a tank full of good gas.

I guess you didn't read Ryan whole blog huh??
Track opens to spectators at 11:30. Roll in at that time and you'll be all set.

Looks like its shaping up to be a great event. I've been thinking about joining the fun for the last few years and although it won't be this year I've acquired a great candidate for giving it a go. Will keep it under wraps for now but for the first time in over 20 years I'm excited about being out on a drag strip. Just remember Ak Millers saying "old age and treachery will overcome youth and enthusiasm every time".;):)

Holiday Inn is the host hotel. Try to get in there or one of the other places within walking distance.

WOW!!! Your good. Of course I should of remembered that I couldn't fool you. In that case I've got a back up plan. How about I bring something that has to give you and Big Olds about a 10 second head start just to make the finish line interesting? Then....................after we run I'll let you make a pass in a REAL car.
Of course this will be all in fun as I wouldn't do ANYTHING to jeopardize getting those awesome hugs that I'm accustomed to. If nothing else I'm looking forward to exchanging barbs for the next year. As they say........news at eleven.:)
