Today is an awesome day.....I finally got to drive the Strange Bird! What a RAD feeling. I will be deaf for a week, but it was well worth it. CHECK OUT THE VIDEO BELOW.
Here is video of the car taking a hot lap around my shop...That's Casey, my apprentice/helper/fabricator/abuse cushion in the passenger seat smiling nervously. He helped a great deal on this car. [YT]/YT] A little background on the car: I started this project as a "shop car" in December of last year. I started with a $200 craigslist beater, and with the addition of a bunch of tubing, a little axle change, and a built to the teeth blown Buick Nailhead, I have myself a bitchin little A/GS car.
