RICH "PURE HELL" GUASCO named to the NHRA HALL OF FAME! It's ABOUT TIME!!!
If you've never met Rich Guasco (of Pure Hell and Blue Max fame) you are missing out. You'd be hard pressed to find a nicer and more dedicated guy. Well, he was just named to the NHRA Hall of Fame. He heard today and called Gary Meadors to let him in on the cool news. Apparently he was extremely excited and honored. There's nothing cooler than a humble and deserving legend.
Way to go Rich, and thanks for continuing to make history! Post your favorite pic of Rich or Pure Hell. Here's a few from this past weekend in Puyallup...  Rich is still a serious competitor. Checking the track for his driver.  Still running one of the coolest cars in drag racing history.

Very deserving to a really good guy. I had the pleasure of going on one of the cruises from GG Des Moines to GG Columbus along with Rick and he is one SUPER NICE guy. I noticed in some of the pictures he had his cell glued to his ear and he was pretty much that way on the cruise. And believe me he drives the shit out of his AMBR car.

Rich Guasco is simply the Coolest!
I've got dozens of pics of Rich and/or his Pure Hell Altered over the years ... almost impossible to pick a favorite ... so I'll just post my most recent snapshots from last year at the Goodguys West Coast Nats:   The sound quality sucks ... and you can't smell the Nitro ... but here's a short (poor quality) video of it Cacklin' (with Goodguys VP of Event Ops Harry Daviess in the seat):
