My grandpa with his 1924 Dodge Brothers. He sold Wearever Aluminum cookware before and after WWII. Note the utensil in his hand.

Hard to say if these ladies are lost, or have had a breakdown. Maybe it was simply a photo op. 1907 Packard model 30, somewhere in the middle of nowhere.

Springfield, Mass. was home to some great vehicle manufacturers including Knox, Stevens-Duryea and Rolls Royce. Here is a great shot of a fire truck built by Knox, and the writeup from the back of the photo.

Here is another Knox, an earlier one that is quite good sized. It was some where in upstate NY.

Twin6......Are PREWWII COLORED and COLORIZED photos and postcards like these great ones OK????
Twin6 has allowed us to post color post cards. THIS MEANS NO POSTCARDS PRODUCED AFTER 1941 WILL BE ALLOWED. NO MODERN PHOTOS OR CARDS...... YOU WILL BE ASKED TO DELETE THEM. Thanks, T-H

Sure - so long as the photos themselves predate WW2, colored or colorized pix and cards are just fine. So far, we've done well sticking to the original intent for the thread. I hope interest and support continues.
