Lets try this again, in the right forum!

Finally gathered the parts to make my 33 Plymouth into a mocked up roller!!

Set the body on so I could center the axle in the wheelwells. Height wise, with the spring installed the body will be about an inch higher than it sits right now, and about 2 inches forward centering the rear wheels in the arch. Never was too fond of the "squashed" look. Still a bunch more to do, but it's a great feeling when you can finally roll that pile of parts around! Thanks to Royalshifter, and Ladyshifter for everything. None of this would have been possible without your generosity and inspiration. Thanks to HAMB Newbie Rosiegirl (My wife) For helping me set the body up with no sling or cherry picker, just us lifting it in place!! :) Without her patience, and occasional prodding to get off the couch and into the garage I wouldn't be nearly as far as I am!! And to my Daughter for wanting to hang out in the garage and "ride" in the car as I push it in and out of the garage!

Titled, registered non-op 33 Plymouth 5 window coupe
    33-34 Ford frame and X-member
Model A front and rear crossmembers
    Powered by a Buick 300

    Here are the pics :D

Progress is slow now. Taking inventory of all the little crap I need. Rear U-bolts, shackles, shocks, bear claw latches..... At least I have pretty much all the big stuff!

I agree, but I'm using what I have available at the moment. I would like to do a nailhead, and if I happen across one then that's what will go in. I wouldn't argue with a poly though either!

The car is a mix match of parts and I'm running a full hood anyway. The only thing Mopar is the body!

I'll be setting up the rear end soon then the body comes off and I have to finish weld everything. Pics will follow!

Thanks for the kind words everyone, just trying to build the car I love on a modest income.

  25. you just think thats your car the eyes on that little queen says daddy PLEASE and we both know where that leads,Lol

  26. Looks good! I agree on the non-squashed look
