That car sucks, you should have kept the Lincoln, and when are you going to get a door that matches the rest of the car! OK seriously, I've loved it from day one but don't let that go to your head. Love Ratboy

My most memorable moment is heading over to your place at about 10:00 at night one time to mess with the torque converter... jeez, there was like 100 bolts we had to take off to get that thing apart... that was at your second place in Alameda.
I also remember when Gordon showed up at your 1st place... he was like Santa on Christmas morning! Bringing parts, and much needed enthusiasm! We had been working on mounting the motor, and we were removing the stock model A crossmember, drilling out rivits... you had like a hand drill, a combo phillips/standard screwdriver and one of those wrenches that fits everything from a 1/4" bolt to a 7/8" bolt and a claw hammer and I was thinking "Dang, how are we gonna do this??!!" Gordon figured it out... Sam

Saw the car at the HOP UP party at Bonneville in '08, always hoped I'd figure out whose it was. Its perfect. Borrowed your engine/firewall clearance method for fitting my olds motor in my A. Thank you for sharing your story.
