Some pictures of my 1934 ford tudor. My second build with alot of help from a good friend . First build was a austin mini so big difference in the type of build......

cool man looks good!! We have two 34's our sedan delivery is getting pretty close to done. Cant wait to see more progress keep it up!

next step how much firewall do i cut out??? Shortened water pump going on but the blanacer still 1" way from front crossmember.(love the stock look)

 

That's rad buddy.

I cut the firewall out on my 37, but left the top portion before comes out at an angle.

This was pre-channeling the body era of the build.

 

bean, use short water pump and single front pulley it will give you a lot more room. - brad

 

Bean, don't cut the firewall, I'll give you a hand if needed. Start with short water pump, one grove v belt pully, and a small distributor. You still might have to "TRIM" the firewall around the bell housing but "CUT" You are making Henry Cry (haha) See you for beers soon...

 

So how fast where you going while you were driving it on the blocks....? Great looking start.......

I would love to own a 33-34 tudor someday. Looks good keep it up.

 

It's not a coupe but my father had a 1928 sedan and got me into hot rods!!

 

air bag set up with c notch ........

 

I wouldn't be running airbag (or any) suspension off shock absorber brackets. Just going by the shot of the diff and airbag attached to it.

 

brings back memories,i had my tudor since i was 13,now i am 36,,you going to chop her?

 

No doubt about it! The question is how much? Do you remember what you did on yours, look's good!

 

I cut mine 3 1/2 all the way around,i just wish i laid back the windshield like the california kid,,,i have the pieces of the top in my tool box,,

 

I was thinking of choping it 4" all the way around. Did you have problems lining up the posts without laying back the windsheild? Which pieces? Above the doors?

 

If i had the money i would love to have a 33/34 coupe!
The motor is siting lower then what i want it to be. I'm getting my frame mount's in 2 days and i will start working on the position. Pictures will be up soon......

 

I'd rethink the four inch chop...mine's just under 3 inches and my windshield is just less than 8 inches.

here's one that's 4", and in my opinion, looks squished...

i agree 4 is too much at 3 1/2 i have a 7 inch windshield and a 5 inch rear,i cut and added over the doors,the rest lined up,keep in mind i was 13 when i did my chop,,,,so its so easy a kid can do it!!

 

Mines coming down 4" and I'm going to rake the a post .
