OK, so I got a glass 34 roller...I will run it as a highboy, I have taken out the IFS and put on and 34 x member to use a dropped axle. I bought the running gear out of a 39 standard coupe and thats what will be going under this 34.
it will be running a 49 caddy 331 with 39 ford top loader 3 speed trans. banjo rear.I will run all henry sheetmetal on front end and deck lid.
here's what I have done so far.

this is how I got the car

normally I don't have any time for glass cars, but I like what you are doing with this 34 coupe. Good work!

I like the direction that this is heading also. Do you know who the body and frame manufactures are ? Do you know how much it is chopped ?

It looks real nice. I know I could never have a steel 34. So glass would be for me too.

body is by 34 corner I cant find anything about them.... they must have gone out of buisness... but it's a very good body front window opens,(with orig. crank) door hinges, rear window rolls up/down and door handles.
I think it's a TCI frame. dont know how much on chop....

With the prices this ragged ass 32-34 metal is bringing these days, it just seems logical. If you build it with all the right parts its gonna be cool. It's no different than giving stupid money for one of the brookville bodies. It's still an aftermarket body when you are done.

I think it looks great, great plan, and about $20,000 extra in the budget to buy all the right parts with.

    Good call, keep it up.
