Yep, Bags are where the springs were. Front shocks on custom mounts, Tri-four bar rear. Here's a pic of it all the way down.

My first car was a '58 Thunderbird Hardtop that I purchased in 1960...talk about stylin' at an early age ! (Those pix are below)
I also owned this rare 1966 "Q-Code" 5-Window Landau...with full power EVERYTHING ! (Note: The last official 5-Window Landau's were produced in 1965...the '66 Landau's were 3-Window units with a "blind" rear quarter roof.) ![]() Jonnie King www.legends.thewwbc.net |

Over at Motorburg, extraordinary T-Bird build that is designed and owned by extraordinary Artist, Charlie Smith. Very cool stuff. http://www.motorburg.com/forum/showthread.php?t=2269

Better late than never.
I got this '65 about 6 years ago. I just woke it up from a 3 year sleep. Come winter it's in for some changes. Here's a shot of it at Frankenmuth 2012. It's first major outing in over 3 years.

Since this thread is back up ... I saw a 61 convertible today and it was sure a neat looking car. I'm curious, is there room for four adults to travel comfortably in a 1961 Bird? Im sure its fine up front, no idea about the back seats though.

I saw this one a few years ago and liked it so much I down loaded these photos. It's a 58.
