So Shainerman got a great deal on a shoebox, mostly because previous owner tried to chop it and didnt quite succeed. The next flash of brilliance was to just cut off what roof was left and roadster-ize it.

I get the lovely task of putting another sedan roof on it. Owner found a decent roof in St Louis and delivered it today.

Its not all the way fitted but its within 1/4 of sliding on. Some trimming and cleaning it'll be ready to weld! No chop.

That is kinda kool to see the top go back on rather than cut down. Great job so far.

I would love to chop it guys, but finances call for otherwise, haha. And honestly, the extra money needs to go to fix a lot of the other issues the car has. I'll shoot for chopping it next year, maybe this winter, but I just want it back on the road!!!

And dont worry, Im gonna drive it to his house when his whole crew is outside BBQing or something along those lines. Cant be too mean though, the guy made me a hell of a deal and built the car in memory of his father.

I got MOST of the windows, but they arent in good enough shape for my liking. The back is perfect, the rollups (front and rear) are there, but not perfect and I am in desperate need of a windshield!

sorry for the delay, had to go to St Louis this morning.

It doesnt look like much has changed but it has, the roof has been off an on at least 6 times now, I think its ready to weld but I wanna take my car to the shop to check measurements before I weld it on. (it would piss me off a bit to have to cut it back off!)
