Here's ours before the roof seams were finished. It was my first chop/first build. 1948 Ford F-6 cab, 51 box, 34 truck grill, 682c's. These trucks get cracked on alot. Some I've seen look cartoonish, wrenches dont make cool headlight stands. We tried to stay away from that type of stuff. I think it's the sum of the parts you choose that make or break any project. This one is all Ford parts or early 60's speed equiptment. Wieand Dragstar intake, made in Detroit Mallory dual point and coil, 6-97's that I had re-colored and rebuilt myself. Built the frame in our shop, 2x3 box tube, model A front cross member, round tube in rear with a perch and a 40 spring, but put turn downs on the ends of the front rails and a cross bar to look more like a stock frame. We tried to stay out of the catalogs as much as possible.
