Picked up the '32 Tudor today. Been in this family since 1932. Four generations. I don't believe the car has been registered since 1956. It was supposedly in a small barn (see pic) for a number of years and then moved into the nearby garage.

The car is very original. Only missing a few items. Body is fairly solid, but the fenders are shot. Model B banger turns over by hand but hasn't run in approx 30 years.

This is a tough one from a roddin' standpoint. I think this will remain pretty stock but get a few very traditional upgrades.

I will be staying in contact with original owner family to provide updates along the way.

Can't wait to get started. First thing on the list will be to see if I can get the banger fired up.

Thanks Kent, Bill, and Dad for helping me get it home.

    Mike

  18. That's a wonderful find, and it's always great to see them go to HAMBers, rather than restoration guys.;)

Wow, nice score. I think I'd have to straighten and repair the fenders just to prove I could.

If I had it it would get a dropped axle, juice brakes, paint back close to original, a redo of the interior and some tweaking on the banger. Just enough to give it a bit of a hot rod flavor but not get too far from the way it began.

Congrats Mike on getting it. I've been biting my nails off trying to keep it to myself since you told me about it. I think it's actually better than the pictures you sent me awhile back. When you get it on the road we'll have to get mine and yours together and see if they remember each other from back at the factory.:eek::cool::D

Congrates. Very nice car to work with. At least the right caretaker got it . You"ll do that car right. This looks like a special car. Good luck with it ........Brian.
