I don't know about anyone else, but I love seeing concept drawings, so let's see your favorites, maybe your own, good or bad, especially those ideas on bar napkins. Here's one of mine, a little ruff right now but who cares, right!

HAMB'r Keith Kaucher www.kaucherdesignwerks.com did this
sketch for me back in '03. Wow time is flying by... My full intentions is
to build this someday. When I can walk away from my Merc I'll start
working on this one. I have the 60 Impala four door with a 60 Mercury
grill and Bonneville tailights, just need a top. Keith has a great eye for design.....

Who says four doors kan't be kool....

I did some concept renderings for Gearhead News here in Chicago. It's a bi-monthly newspaper that covers all of Chicagoland's hot rod events, clubs, racing, etc. Well I got on a roll and gave them too much to choose from, so they are putting it out there to see what is the most popular. They asked for a traditional look. Hey, that's right up my alley!

Have a look and let me know what you think, and of course feel free to vote for my favorite. Hahaha, I mean your favorite.

Click here to view all 18 renderings: http://www.gearheadnews.com/stuffforsale.htm

Here are a couple of them.

I did some concepts for a new T-bird with '57 fenders for a (now defunct) street rod shop here in Denver...

In addition to the front fenders, the rears were changed to '57 fins and taillights too...and the car was actually built and painted black.

Well, it's a 66 Chrysler Newport 4dr sedan. The idea right now is to bag it. I'm thinking flat black (or a good big flake sparkle black, if such exists) with a white roof and white stripe between the lower trim. Possibly a few white scallops pinstriped in some contrasting color. Flipper hubcaps on 14s and wide whites. Just a mild custom.

Mine, and fellow HAMBer 66newport, for reference.

That one of the 9/16" Rod blows my friggin' mind. I think I saw that most recently in an advertisement for the Jalopy Journal in the last Rodders Journal.
I love the style, sure, but just the IDEA of it takes my breath away and is fun to ponder when I've got a monotonous task to do.

I'll try to find some of my own chicken scratches. Neat thread.

These are awesome guys, keep 'em coming.

Chaddilac, are those vector illustrations?, anyway they look good.

Bonesmsd, that's a great illustration. That's the cab I'm using for my roadster build. Love the belt line of those early chevy's.

Mark Hinds, how old's your son? Great drawing also.

I'll post an update of my rendering when it's complete or almost there.

I printing a batch of yellow micro-fibre shop rags for myself.. they'll be one color, black , and the yellow from the rag will be the second.
I'll have something to polish or hand out if the need arises.

I just got done producing 100 for our car club here in Port Townsend,
    ' The RAKERS'.

A friend of mine did two of my cars, then I built as close to it as I could. A few small changes, but they came out pretty close.

Well, this was done AFTER the car was built, but I think it's a great concept...

About 5 years ago, Keith Kaucher was over and we got to talking how I needed a little inspiration, this is what he came up with...

And this is how it came out...

A good friend of mine, Andy Leach, has these that were drawn by Bob Thrash:

Bob also did this one for me. My '29 A Roadster will be similar to his sketch:
