I just received the first shipment of Offenhauser Caddy 2x2 intakes, part number 1080! Offenhauser did a partial first production run. I only received half of my order. Orders that were presold will be shipped in the order I received them. The manifolds look GREAT! I should receive the balance of the presold manifolds at the end of January or first part of February. This will be a stocking number at Exeter Auto Supply. Both verisons (3 bolt and 4 bolt carburetor pads) will be available.

Sooooo nice!! I almost feel compelled to buy another caddy motor just to run one!

  13. What would be the best carbs to run on the 4 bolt pattern? Its got to be period though.... say nothing newer than 1953. ???

The cost of the manifold is $379.99 plus shipping for non-Alliance members. For Alliance members it is $360.00 plus shipping. It is availalble for the 3-bolt Stromberg/Holley carbs or the 4 bolt small base Rochester 2GC carburetors. These are not repops! Offenhauser located the original patterns and tooling for these manifolds.

That looks like the perfect intake for a vintage caddy build. The price seems more than fair when you consider the price some of the old stock are bringing and your starting with a new piece.

Well, I don't know about the caddy stuff, but I do know that Offy's dual quad manifold for the 401-425 nailheads actually flows worse than the stock piece, so......

Between this, and hildebrandt valve covers being re-poured, and the new Strombergs 97's....I see a resurrgance in Cadillac performance engines.

I already have an edelbrock 3x2 cd-693 for my new build...but I might need to pick one of these up too...
