I totally rember those! Pants from an older brother with patches or patches on holes that I did all be my lonesome!

Life was simpler, 1 or 2 pairs of jeans, 1 pair of canvas Converse, any shirt that fit...and my two brothers and I, raised by a single mom (with a two tone 56 Chev sedan), were good to go.

Sphagettios or toasted cheese sandwiches with milk (with nestle's powder and we wuz livin the good life!)

This location is used in "The Road" movie that was just out a few months ago. An excellent movie but a real friggin downer!

Gotta' be. There's the train station (museum now) and the sun angle indicates an afternoon shot, looking northwest. Looks to be about where the 21st Street Bridge intersection is now. The Swiss Tavern/Hotrod-A-Rama location would be just a few blocks to the left!
