The family still has the car and they even sent me some home video that is included in this youtube video.

The Pontiac is made by Silvestri art studios of Chicago and is electric powered with working lights not pedal. It is a smaller scale than many of the other powered promotionals I deal with so they do not fit the adults as well as the others but that does not stop them from giving it a spin.

I posted this pic on the Spotlight Hobbies Board, and someone there is researching that bus! It still exists in a transportation museum, in need of restoration!

Mostly likely they did not, even though they gave the SOHC engines an engine code in the parts catalog. "L" was for single 4V engines and "D" was for dual 4V engines. Apparently Ford did build a '64 Galaxie test car fitted with a SOHC. But what about this '66 SOHC Galaxie reportly built for Ford Racing chief Jacque Passino. These photos were found in a book called FORD - THE PERFORMANCE YEARS (out-of-print) by Martyn Schorr. It was most likely built in one of Ford experimental shops, not on the assembly line. "
