Sweet mother, how things have changed. Look as if the ladies above couldn't
pass a thing, and the ladies below couldn't let a thing pass. Where's Mart?

etc., right??? Well, here's a blast from the past,
straight from 1960 -- featuring a real babe!

Born in LA to a French dad and Mexican mom, Yvette
Mimieux enjoyed film success in the '60s, first gaining
notoriety in "Where the Boys Are" and George Pal's
1960 Sci-Fi hit, "The Time Machine." The movie, which
won an Academy Award and other awards, starred
relatively well-known actors Rod Taylor, Alan Young,
Sebastian Cabot and Whit Bissell. BUT -- the real stars
in movie-goers' eyes had to have been young Yvette
and the awful subterranean cannibal Morlocks!

I absolutely love that movie, its one of my all time favorites!! I got to meet Rod Taylor one time when I was a kid around 1970. I lived in Tuscon at the time and they made a lot of the westerns then in a place outside of the town called old Tuscon. I was about 6 then and it was a real treat, one of those few times in childhood you never forget. It was based around a Stutz Bearcat auto. The show was called Bearcats! Anyway we were on the opposite side of the street from the area they filmed. They did the usual bit of checking every thing out. They told us they would yell action, then they would drive up in front of us,then get out and shoot the stuntmen. They took an hour to get ready then they yelled Action!! They came through and did what they said would happen and then CUT!! . All the visitors there like us got to meet them. I really liked the guy. When your 6 years old and get to see the guy who plays the tough guy marshal you get very impressed. One of the nicest famous people I have ever met. If you haven't seen the time machine do so!!. I wish I could get the original set of Bearcats! I would love to see the episode I saw filmed again.
