WOW Doug, I never would've guessed Pontiac. I was thinking Cougar Javelin Camaro kinda sorta. Was this the Firebird proto? Shoulda built it as is, SEXY!

Not a Firebird proto. Was a 2 seater Pontiac wanted to build. GM brass would not let them thinking it may hurt Corvette sales and turned it down though DeLorean tried hard to get it apprived. This was around '63. Note the VERY strong resemblence to the '68 and newer Corvette. 2 were made and one recently was on Ebay.
