New 55 T-Birds on a 'Convoy Auto Haulage'
truck. Shot on Jan 20, 1955 in Detroit Michigan with a load of new Thunderbirds. The C.O.E. tractor is an 'in house' custom-built rig, built by Convoy, utilizing a Ford cab and other components. Convoy built several in the early 1950's and they worked into the 1960's. Mart3406 =================== Last edited by Ryan; 03-03-2012 at 06:15 PM. |

Associated Transport - 1935
Chev C.O.E. Car hauler tractor hooked to a new 'streamlined' Whitehead & Kales semi-enclosed trailer. Before GM built coe's in house, aftermarket coes were available. This is a Montpilier coe conversion. The semi-enclosed 'streamlined' trailer was made by 'Whitehead & Kales'. Mart3406 ==================== Last edited by Ryan; 03-03-2012 at 06:15 PM. |
