Consider the number of posts on this thread, and how each of us spends a little/lot of time every day here on this thread. Inmyarrogentopinion, this thread alone makes an alliance membership worth every penny. Been said many times, thanks to Ryan and all who make this thread some of the best entertainment on the 'net. I feel we need to do our part to keep it, and the HAMB alive. Rant over....

I think you refer to the reference to the Nash-bodied Hudsons of '55 and '56, often referred to as "Hashes," since the Hudson stepdown body had gone the way of the dodo after the '54 model year. No, no Hudson engines installed in a '52 to '54 true Hudson, obviously. But the Hudson Hornet engine was still available for '55 Hashes ("Hudsons" in name only), probably '56 as well.

Somehow my original question (I wondered if the car in question could be a Frazer or, maybe, a "Hash") got lost. Someone else said it was, in fact, a Nash, so the allusion to the 308 engine became irrelevant.
