When I got out of the Navy in 72, I bought my buddy's 63 Galaxy for $10 and gave it away a year later, still running good, to a poor family in my town. Replaced it with a 68 firebird for $200 because I needed something better. What a POS that was!

Dec 14 1963 Baldwin Hills Reservoir --failure damage & flooding north towards Culver City . Probably due to Standard Oil Drilling operations

In 1966, he bought his first new car, a '66 Olds F85, 6 stick, pictured in the garage.

By 1976, the F85 was showing wear, so he bought a F100 pickup special edition, stick 6. Then in 1983, I finally talked him into getting a V8 auto with AC F100.
