Crystal Beach, Ontario

In a scene right out of the 1964 NY World's Fair, an Erie County Fair Glide-A-Ride passes one of the two NASA designed exhibit domes. The tram was a very rare relic from the NY World's Fair. Originally sponsored by Greyhound Bus Lines, the futuristic Glide-A-Ride was a popular attraction at Flushing Meadows (1964-1965) before being purchased by the Erie County Agricultural Society for use in Hamburg.

Stop by The Old Motor and see J. M. White's Triplex – Record Setting LSR Monster. We have this under construction photo along with many others of the car that held the LSR at over 207 mph 1928.

Ahhhh, what a relief to see the "C" turned as in the alphabet. THANKS, guys! A more subtle clue is that, now, the Chrysler & GM are no long right-hand drive!

Okay, we got a good look at '58 New Yorker trim. The '57 ad below, I think, shows how much
difference designers' trim decisions can make in the overall visual impact of a model that's
otherwise the same. The look of the '57 New Yorker is just as different from the '58 as the '57
DeSoto was from its '58 counterpart, IMO. The '57s for SO many makes just really hit a zenith,
IMO.

Like my wife's Gram&Gramp's then-new '57 NewYorker 'vert (I posted pics of it a year or so ago on this thread). I'm not a big Mopar fan but sure wouldn't mind having that land-yacht today!
