Roy Huggins - 77 Sunset Strip, cover by Robert McGinnis.
Roy Huggins created the 77 Sunset Strip TV series (based on his first novel, The Double Take, 1946), The Fugitive, The Rockford Files, and the great but totally forgotten today City of Angels.

Re ad in posting #36520 if it was located at 129-11 Ave S.E that building is long gone. It would have been demolished after the war and the downtown CO-OP grocery store took its place which in turn was demolished back around 2000. Only a vacant lot is there now. Unfortunately the currant recession has stalled development in that area.
