This looks like it was a 58 Plymouth. Engine still has air cleaner on top inner fender still has battery in place, but pretty much everything else looks like it went through a shredder.

Great photos!

Can anyone tell me what kind of car this is? It has the same rear bumper that I put on my 36 GMC tow truck. I got mine from a pile of bumpers from a museum and it has no identifiable markings at all and I've never seen another till now.

Stan parted out a mid to late 20's Stutz. It had 6 bolt rims similar to the pic.
Also, Stutz was known for fender ends that were separable or separate from the center bumper or spreader.
I cannot say that the pic is a Stutz or not but I know for a fact that he had at least one which was parted.
Stan and his father before him parted out so many great and extremely rare cars while saving others that were hardly worthwhile for some reason.

But the plus for is getting all of these one of a kind parts that nobody else wants and using them on my projects.

I might just ask Stan next time I am down there if he knows what the bumper is from, then I can cross reference my own archives and online to be 100% sure.

You are correct! That is what is left of a 1958 Plymouth 2 door hardtop. You can tell by the door that it was not a sedan but the roof appears to be skinned away if you follow the windshield pillars up from the cowl.
Can not tell by the Black and white what the color is but if this is Christine's twin sister, she ain't coming back to life!

The photo is from Utah in 1961 and damn that had to be a hell of an impact.

I know that I tend to go on about this kind of stuff, but YIKES! Did you really intend to post this image at full size? It's like 14.7 megapixel! It's 4320 pixels wide and my monitor only displays 1440 pixels across. And I feel sorry for anyone with a slower internet connection waiting for this 1650 KB picture to open.

Hope you don't mind my reposting it at a more sensible size, and it's under 100 KB now so it will load a lot quicker. But like I said, I do go on about this stuff sometimes.

And by the way, that's some nice pinups and glamour shots you posted. Vargas has got nothing on Gil Elvgren as far as I can see!
