I agree probably a display for the latest model. We had a very good friend of the family that had the Beatty appliance franchise in Edmonton, Alberta that used to display vintage appliances to show how far technology had advanced.He did these displays for the Edmonton Ex and later Klondike days. Later in his career he did the same for Maytag. As a kid I would go with him when he was setting up his displays. I remember his collection of old appliances
