June 23 race at Road America. Ed Lowther finished 9th overall in a #72 Lister/Chevy, fifth in CM class.

Yesterday, June 2, 2010, marked the 40th anniversary of the death of Bruce McLaren in a testing accident at Goodwood Circuit in the UK. The current McLaren F1 team marked the occasion at their headquarters with a moment of silence followed by more appropriate salute.

Jeezus! Don't bother waiting for oil pressure...?! Oh well, I guess nowadays they are used to those engines that idle at 6000...

Seems fitting that they used the M8F, it was that rear wing design that failed on the prototype and got McLaren killed.
