    ****DISCLAIMER****
NO '32 FORDS WERE HARMED IN THE MAKING OF THIS REINDEER.

This year I decided to make something that would go with the Model T sleigh I made last year. The full sleigh story is here.

At Hershey I came up with the idea of a reindeer made out of stainless trim.
There were stacks and stacks of body molding on the $1 tables. I bought in bulk.

I built a wireframe that would make the deer life size to fit the same proportions as the sleigh.

It is over 6 feet to the top of the antlers.

The antlers were made from lug wrenches. Thanks to Larry we got a unique 7 point rack.

I skinned the deer using the stainless I had acquired.

I was told the stainless came from Packards, 1960 Lincoln, 1949 Merc, 1952 Chevy, 1958 Corvette, Cadillac & others.
The nose is a '59 Caddy tail light, Hoofs are pistons. The tail is some parking light and the eyes are gas caps.

I will put the ears on this weekend.

That is very cool. I was just thinking of your sleigh yesterday and hoping that we would get to see it again this year. Merry Christmas.

I think it took about 12-15 hours but I did that in small increments. Work has been real busy so I have had to work on this real late at night and real early in the morning.

Thanks for all the kind words.
