It's been a long "season" for me this year. I've gone to more events and done more "car activities" than any year prior and honestly, I was starting to feel a bit like I was getting burnt out - not with cars at all, but just events. glad you got a chance to rekindle your excitement, how you may relieze how much joy and happyness you spread by busting your ass at the HAMB drags every year.
That sounds like the days we all use to have when times were much easier on all of us with not a care in the world , but just to go and enjoy the things we love to do with all our friends . Was a great day Sat. First time for me, next year gonna run mine My buddy 46 ford gasser ran real good his first time out, so did his brothers 34 ford.
I love me some drag racin'!!! I have been itching for some of it lately and I'll get a taste at this year's Good Guy's South East Nationals which should be pretty cool.
Ahhhh... going to a car show/event you dont have to work at... Nice huh? almost like car shows are FUN !!! (its easy to forget sometimes).
Any time you can get thrashin' on your ride at a drag strip beats a day at a "carshow" hands down! Support your local drag strip.
RC thanks for all the help gettin the word out. It was a helluva weekend all the way around. There were some really nice cars out there and a buncha great people. I love this event.
I could not have ask for a better time than this weekend! It is one of my favorite events - hands down!
Of course, a day of relaxation didnt lead to me taking many photos. I decided early on to rely on others and left my camera in the trunk of the coupe for much of the day - Ryan Slacker!
Thanks for sharing through all the electronic eyes that were there. I really wanted to make it this year. I love my job, really, but not this weekend.
The guys with the FED, how do I get in touch with them. I want one of their shirts. I figured I would get one Sunday, but did not see them around then.
