you hooked me right off with the Comet, then a couple of Thunderbolts but you really hit me right between the eyes with that screaming yellow 57 Ford gasser. Thanks man really made my day.

 

Now those are race cars - thanks Doug for a great set of pix and enduring the pain and suffering after your back surgery to bring us these pix. You have such a great eye for special shots.

I could do without all the ProMod flopalikes though - I fail to see anything traditional about them. When they started the CHHR in 1992 through about 1996 they had quite a few Super Stockers - where are they now? Watching Joe Mondello in his Olds match racing Dick Landy and popping a huge wheelie, standing it on the rear bumper was just magic - Mondello kicked Landy's ass too
