    Thought it was about time I started my build thread as I've been working on my '29 Roadster Pick Up for a while now.The project started when I got the body,frame,front axle,'bones,screen and Moon tank fro a friend and fellow HAMBER,Archie(ap1930).Thanks mate!
    This is what it looked like until a couple of weeks ago,when I tore it apart to start working on the frame.

    Engine is a blueprinted 289 ,flat top pistons,Edelbrock RPM package and is backed by a T10 and 8 inch rear mounted on a stock 'A' rear spring with a couple of leaves removed.Front end is Mor-Drop axle,Posies spring,F100 brakes and split bones.The screen is the one that came with the car,repro Hallock,love it!

    The frame is from TCI and has been sitting unused for some years,hence the surface rust.I removed the TCI front shock mounts as I have a pair from an F1 that I'll be using.I've added an x-frame to the chassis which I made by cutting some 4x4 box section in half and cutting holes in it.Removable gearbox crossmember was fabricated from mild steel plate.

    To mount the F100 steering box through the frame I did the following;
    1. Cut down the mounting flange and re-drilled the bolt pattern so it would fit inside the box section frame.
    2. Fabricated a wedge plate with slotted bolt holes for column adjustment and let it into the frame rail.
    3. Cut a hole on the inside of the frame rail for access.

    Wasn't happy with my first set of motor mounts so,I made these which I'm happy with.

    Thanks for the comments,guys,much appreciated.
    Nick,'Hayride' next year?Best I get my finger out!
    Unfortunately,I have to jump from job to job on the car,and work on what I can,depending on how much room I have in the workshop,and how much work I have on.This results in lots of half finished jobs but,it's how I have to work at the moment,just working on what I can.
    For the dash,I cut out the stocker and made an engine turned panel which is inserted from the rear and houses the SW gauges.

    Sellers Equiped,thanks for the compliment,don't think it's one of your screens,slightly different shape.I don't know where this one came from as it came with the car and had been stored with it for some years.Checked out your products,beautiful craftsmanship!

    DRUGASM,thanks,I love 'em too.I was real lucky as it came with the car.

    The Deuce steering wheel I'm using was pretty beat up.I stripped the cracked plastic coating from the rim and spokes.Rim got powder coated black and I sanded and polished the spokes.They still need more work but,polishing pisses me off!
    As the column is spline fitting and the wheel is tapered the column had to be modified.Archie(ap1930) came to the rescue!He cut the tapered section from an old column he had laying about and turned the end on a lathe so that it fits inside the F100 column with the splined section cut off.This will be welded around the outside and plug welded once I've determined the column length.
