A few years back,I saw that car in some show coverage in a magazine. It had a different front clip.I cant remember what mag it was,Ill look for it.
The front clip was the sme .It had a stock grille with the center peice removed in place of the DeSoto.
I cannot find a 33 page post like that on my end of the HAMB...is it on the HAMB...If not, where is it? R-

I was browsing thrue some old magazines yesterday and found this photo in I believe a Custom Rodder from 1981. Makes me wonder how the car is doing now.... also makes me wonder why they replaced the grille with a stock 49 grille??? And here are some photo's I think where posted on this board in another post as well. Possebly these where taken before the the car was "finished" in the light color as seen above. And one to remember how it looked in its glorie days.
Rikster,that is the photo I was thinking of in my original post. Thanks for finding and posting it!! I wonder if it is sitting in a garage someplace?? It lasted into the 1980's.I hope it is still around.
