I need your help in locating the parking brake parts to fix my 1954 Ford F-100. I've already checked with Obsolete Pickup Parts in Pickering, ON and they don't have those. If you know where I can find the following parts, I would be very grateful.

Vertical actuator - Part 2A637 for left side, 2A638 for right side
    Horizontal rod - Part 2A642 (2 pieces)
    Spring - 2A601 (2 pieces)

I checked on Dennis Carpenters and Mac's sites and couldn't find anything. You might measure the drum diameter and pad thickness and try to match it up, some of the early 70's ford vans had similiar set ups. This site from Bendix lets you look up the part and see the specs, for instance a 74 E-150 van has a 10" drum, then when you look up the shoes it shows a picture of it.Hope this helps you out. http://www.power-21.com/BendixPower21i/Application.aspx?b=B

I would bet money that the 9 inch rears out of f100 trucks up to 1966 will be the same. Drums and shoes are the same 48-66. I've upgraded the rear axle to a 9 inch on a few f1 trucks and the stock parking brake cable clips right into the 59 and 60 F100 rears perfectly.

Thank you, Homespun91! I e-mailed Bob's F-100 over the weekend, they replied with prices and I called them this afternoon. They are sending me the parts as we speak. I highly recommend them for hard-to-find parts, ask for Dave.

if your serious i will check the condition for you but the body is rough and shipping to other side of the country will probably not be cheap.

Your probably right about the shipping. I will just keep looking around here.
