Does anyone on the HAMB own or know who owns this Ford. I have some questions I would like to ask about the chop. In my opinion, it is by far the coolest four door sedan I have ever laid eyes on.

    Any help would be appreciated.

They are '53-'54 Olds. Had the same ones on my Shoebox. My dad has the same ones on his Merc too.

Wow that is a great roof! Theres another on tht rocks as hard where the guy used tudor 1/4 window frames for door tops on the rear doors which worked out beutifully because the roof caps are the same.

Great. Now I'm wishing I didn't have to sell mine. :(

  13. wow I used a couple nice 4 doors as parts cars when putting my real rough coupe together. I always though four door shoe boxes were ugly as hell but this one looks amazing. Maybe I should have just built one of the four doors, would have been alot less work haha

After a couple of drinks I think I see what makes this chop look so good. May have taken the B pillars and moved them back a tad. Then they took a little off the rear doors and added to the length of the front doors...could just be the photo.....or the booze.

No, I think that the shorter height plus removing the vent wings and rear quarter windows made the windows look longer. The proportions are spot on; the slope of the roof is perfect. This is a sow's ear turned silk purse.

All it needs is that wandering-in-space on the C pillar drip rail moved to where it just surrounds the door opening.
I've seen it done, recently on an Auto Butcher's car and it looks "right".
