I'm thinking that my favorite is the 1953 Cunningham C-3 Vignale Convertible ... now, I wonder why that is?

if i hadn't lost my right nut in a old kickboxing injury, i'd gladly give it for that Ghia bodied Cadillac..... That car is even more stunning than the information i just gave you.... :-)
Thanks for sharing, Dave. BTW: Is there a dress code to get into that place? Looks like lots of Grey Poupon there... -scott noteboom |

Wow ... way too many favorites to list ... and I'll have to admit that the more I look at it, the 1956 Nash~Rambler Palm Beach Concept Coupe (designed & built by Pinin Farina in Italy) is kinda growing on me ... the trunk lid and chromed rear panel are wild.
Oh ... and I gotta ask: What's up with the pic of the '65 GOAT parked in front of the Campbell AQUI's (across the street from the Sonoma Chicken Coop)?

A freaking Pegaso! That's a rare beast. I've never seen one in person and those are the best photos of one I've ever seen.

But it's a description of a type rather than any manufacturer's body-style name: a lot of the cars thus described are coachbuilt or even one-offs. It's a very subtle distinction. You can almost say the concept of type is less distinct with these sorts of cars - or even something completely different. |

it was the guy in the lilac jacket, purple trousers, pink shirt and lilac shoes that made us look good.....and yeah I never really realised just how poor we were!!..and you never even offerd to buy the Champagne..at £350 a bottle!..... (bigging it up now) my A was displayed on the cricket pitch at the 2005 FOS!!!...and Dave I just got to the Cunnigham convertable and the rear shot of the Rambler.....I really think I need that Rambler...but with the Cunningham's HEMI....as as a side issue..Briggs Cunningham once stopped in my house!

Thanks for sharing, remarkable stuff, those Bugattis would be worth the trip alone. Great shots. So thats what rich folk do with their cars, I wonder if they actually drive them, probably hire someone to do that as well.

The Veedol Oil decal made my day!! Spectacular machines, pretty stuffy affair but really boss in person. I went to the event when I lived in California and it was a fun experience. Thanks for sharing these rare birds with us, and yes some goofy outfits abound at the show!! ~Sololobo~
