The H.A.M.B. Drags actually started with a cup. See, I was down and out... burnt up... tired of running this joint... tired of this... tired of that... And then, I went to the first Lonestar Round Up and was completely and totally inspired by the Kon...

My oh my..that sucker is good lookin..

LOTS of competition this year. There are about 10 guys that have a good shot. As for me, I'm just crossing my fingers and putting teh pedal down and hope she makes it there and back in one piece.

I think everybody who helps run these car things gets burned out at times, but you never know when something great is gonna happen, just around the corner. Sometimes it just takes one fresh & original hot rod, one super intelligent person, or one well-run event to inspire us to keep going...

I was thinking that for beating Buzzard by 5 thousands of a second I would have won it last year! But then again after watching D.W. and Flamedabones runs... I think not!
