When Burt Munro does his climactic run down the salt in 'Worlds Fastest Indian', you see those big, circular clock dials spinning, and the name "CROCKER TIMER" is right on the face of the dial, capturing his world speed record. It’s hard to appreci...

Very cool story, thank you for sharing it Jay. I've always wanted to know more about Otto Crocker after seeing his name, and reading the small story about him in the The Birth of Hot Rodding - The Story of the Dry Lakes Era.
