This yard has been shown here before, a few years ago. I was there today and this shows what is lying there at the moment. It is VaVaVoom in Roseisle, Manitoba (Canada) owned by Bill Harrison, 204 248 2221 if anyone has any questions. I don't know the prices but the car I am looking at (not posted) seems reasonable. I hope the pictures come out alright - my first picture post- to get within the limits they are reduced to pixilated postage stamps, so if anyone can point me to a way to show them better I will try that. Most of the early ones are general shots. I might have additional views (reply with the picture you are interested in) but I have no connection to the yard, so address any questions to Bill Harrison - best contacted by 'phone. Edit: Towards the end there are a number of three dimensional images (stereoscopic pairs) of the yard. If you look at them, please can you leave a post saying how you got on with them? It is the first time I have tried posting 3D photos and would like to know if it is worth doing another time.
I will keep posting - there are lots more. The place is well organized with lots of spares - will show racks of fenders etc. later on if I have the patience.
Cool stuff! I see Bill at some of the bigger events throughout the summer. Never been to his place before. I wonder how his prices compare to Geordie Vincent's stuff here in Neepawa.
Does he still have the Willys 2 dr sedan? Was a 37-41 I can't remember for sure what year. It seems like it was about half way up the hill and probably 4-5 rows in from the gate.
I have not been to the Neepawa site. Do you have contact details? I have seen your posts and would like to go.
Very Cool.. I miss the days when I could walk through a friends field of old tin.. thanks for the pictures.. Brings back memories..
It's amazing how solid and rust-free most of it appears to be. It brings back memories of Mack Moates' place here in the early '60s, or Arthur Richmond's place at Dalton GA without the rust.
I agree the little milk/grocery truck is the coolest thing I have seen in quite a while. I didn't know they made them that small. Looks almost like 1/2 or 3/4 scale. SWEET!
