Here's the final roll out of the car before I strip it down for finishing.

Got a lot of the detail stuff off the list, such as primering the body panels and blocking it out, made the rear panel for the body, made fairings around where the front spring exits the belly pan and took care of most of the body panel fitment. Also finished making the headers after fussing with them several times. Now all I have to do is final weld them.

Also got my Spadaro QC unit. The belly pan has to get sent out to get the louvers punched and and I have a solid day of welding the chassis.

The hip kids would say you have mad skilz.

Damn fine fabrication from front to back. The car sits right, looks right, IS right. The cockpit cover is particulary bitchn.

  5. That car is fucking awesome. I love the blister/metal shaping that's done on it. Very superb work dude.

  6. Unreal!!! That's one of the best cars I've seen on here. Tons of originality and innovation. Looks like you have levered shocks mounted behind nose piece. Love the cockpit cover too.

Love the car but how do you use the brake and clutch together?

    Thanks for the compliments guys.

As far as the pedal deal, I have a similar set in my other modified, it just requires a little fast and creative foot work, plus use of the hand brake if needed.

As far as color; the British racing green would be a neat scheme. I'm going going with a very simple color combo; Body red and frame black with a splash of chrome here and there. To me, a race car done in red and black was always a little sinister and utilitarian looking. The car will also have the Flying A logo on the door in lieu of a number.

this is what makes our hobbie so Cool,..individuals expressing their talents
in unique ways. The quick change is a cool nostalgic piece too. Maybe you can show the details on what your doing with the dash board?

    Thanks!

There is no dash, so to speak, just what I call a pod; that mounts to the trans...the tach will be mounted on the steering column.

The quickchange is the Spadaro/Winters unit.
